Synthesis of mesoporous high-silica zeolite Y and their catalytic cracking performance

Mesoporous high-silica zeolite Y with advantages of improved accessibility acid sites and mass transport properties is highly desired catalytic materials for oil refinery, fine chemistry emerging biorefinery. Here, we report the direct synthesis mesoporous (named MSY, SiO2/Al2O3 ? 9.8) their excellent cracking performance. The obtained MSY are single crystals octahedral morphology, abundant mesoporosity (hydro)thermal stability. Both concentration strength H-form obviously higher than those commercial ultra-stable (USY), which should be attributed to uniform Al distribution zeolite. H-MSY displays an reduced deactivation rate activity in reaction bulky 1,3,5-triisopropylbenzene (TIPB), as compared its mesoporogen-free counterpart USY. In addition, was investigated catalyst industrial heavy oil. MSY-based (after aging at 800 oC 100% steam 17 h) exhibits superior conversion (7.64% increase) gasoline yield (16.37% fluid (FCC) under conditions.

The infiltration of palladium nanoparticles (PdNPs) into the channels of SBA-15 was conveniently achieved via an incipient wetness procedure employing a tetraglyme solution.
